Seldom Traveled

A seldom traveled trail along the Craggy Garden pinnacle. Isolate due to harsh seasonal weather conditions near the summit of two of the Great Smokey Mountain’s tallest peaks, few experience the peace and solitude offered while traversing this natural landmark.

In this image from our “Landscape Gallery”, it’s mystique is illustrated as golden-green ferns, flourish along either side of the distinct and winding trail.  Moderate fog hints of unpredictable weather while the sun struggles to bring warmth and light, if only for a season.
